The referral Surgical Service of the Pet Emergency & Specialty Center is designed to provide advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgical care for patients requiring the expertise of a board certified surgeon.

Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Gastrointestinal: including esophageal, gastric, intestinal and colonic
  • Hepatic and biliary
  • Urogenital including renal, ureteral, bladder, and urethral surgery
  • Ear canal resections, ablations, and bullaosteotomy
  • Skin reconstruction and grafting
  • Cardiovascular: including correction of congenital defects such as PDA & PSS & pericardial effusion
  • Upper respiratory tract including brachycephalic defects and laryngeal paralysis
